How MenuRobin collects and uses your data

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data MenuRobin collects, why, and your rights over it. The data controller is Nilsu Ece.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address and password (stored hashed) you provide at sign-up.
Business & menu data: venue names, menu categories, items, prices and images you add to the platform.
Usage & analytics data: anonymized menu scan records (IP address, device type, referrer) used to provide analytics to venue owners.
Payment data: handled entirely by our Merchant of Record (see §3). We do not receive or store your full card details.

2. Why we use your data

To provide and operate the service (create and publish your digital menus).
To manage your subscription and account.
To provide scan and order analytics.
To send service-related emails (verification, notifications, support responses).
To secure the platform and prevent abuse.

3. Third parties & payment processing

Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, acting as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy; we receive only limited subscription metadata (plan, status, subscription reference). We also use infrastructure and email providers strictly to operate the service.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management, and store your language/market preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and menu data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, associated data is removed, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@menurobin.com.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored hashed and transmission is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
